How much age difference is appropriate for a 14 year old to date?

Im 14,and im just wondering if it would be okay to date someone who was 17.No,I dont know anyone that is of that age that wants to date me,im just wondering like would it be okay to date someone that was 2 or 3 years older than me

ya, i am currently dating a guy that is 17, i’m fourteen, 15 in june. his b-day’s in december. i think its fine
if you like him that’s what’s important
i love him so much, he means the world to me, and i feel really good about this, it just feels so right
we share so much in common together, which is amazing and suprising. even though we live in different states, we really trust eachother, love is what really matters, age should be less important, as long as you truthfully love him, it’s fine.

i would say two years. When I was 14 i went out with this guy 3 years older than me (don’t ask) people were so mad at me

If you are about to turn 15 I think that would be okay, but if you just turned 14 and he’s about to turn 18 than no.
This is just in my beliefs.

Well, if you live in canada… then you can’t give someone consent to do anything with you sexually, and it would be considered sexual assault.

I would be curious why a 17 year old would want to date a 14 year old. They are in completly different stages in their lives, and really wouldn’t serve any logical purpose. Also, why would you want to date at 14?
